Herndon Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving day we headed down to the clubhouse for thanksgiving with the Herndon crew! We had so, so much food! We got lucky this year on thanksgiving because we didn't have rush around! We got to enjoy the day at the clubhouse! Landon watched football, of course, with the guys, and I caught up on everything with the girls. Then we got to go see where Meme and Pop are building their new house! It is beautiful. I am so happy for them! We love getting to go down to the clubhouse and spend time with everyone down there. We do not get to do it enough!

Mals before we left! All warm and cozy!
Mals after we got home. She may have missed her mom a little! :)

It's the little things...

For some reason today I have been really enjoying "the little things". These things being the texts Landon sends me to let me know he made it to work okay, daddy  asking me how I feel today, mom sending me pins on Pintrest, Mallie being excited when I come home, pulling into my carport, dirty dishes in the sink, etc. I guess the holidays make me remember how truly blessed I am. Then I start getting into my feelings a little too much. Ha! For example, just five minutes ago I am sitting on the couch and Landon comes running through the living room. I didn't say anything. (It's not usual, but it's not unusual either.) Then Mallie comes running through the living room and hides under the chair. Landon comes running back through the living room and asks where Mallie went! Mallie jumps out and barks at him and runs off. By this time, I'm confused. I finally ask what in the world they are doing and he says that they are playing hide and seek. Clearly that's what was going on. Then they both just run off and I am left with a stupid smile on my face and I can't stop smiling. This just makes it even more aware to me how great of a dad Landon will be one day. He and Mallie make my day, everyday. ❤️

Update!

Landon and I have been passing the sickness back and forth so we haven't had a very exciting week. It was full of medicine and sleep! We did have thanksgiving with Mrs. Nan's side of the family this weekend at the lake! It was wonderful, just wish Landon and I could have really enjoyed it! We felt like party poopers because we were so under the weather! We are starting to feel much better now!

Super Saturday!

Saturday was a super fun day with the boys!!!! We took Jackson to Build-a-Bear! He picked out a puppy! He picked out a bark, heart, big boy underwear like his, gave him a bath, and got the puppy an Iron Man costume. He named the puppy Scout, but we are going to call him Iron Puppy! :) Easton loved watching Jackson make his puppy! After making the puppy, Jackson wanted to ride the "kiddy" ride in the mall. So he did. :) Easton had to ride too! On the way to the car, Jackson spotted some escalators. Of course they had to ride them up and down at least one time! We left the mall and went to Discover the Dinosaurs at the Memphis Convention center! Jackson had a blast! Easton was a bit tired by this point so he got in a nap! :) Jackson was so excited that Nana came to the dinosaurs with us! After the dinosaurs, we went to eat with Nana and Pop at Mi Pueblo. Jackson said he wanted Mexican for supper!
Happy Baby in the morning!
Before Memphis photoshoot!

He was a little excited! :)

He didn't make it...
And we're off!

Rubbing it on his nose to make it smell good.
Rubbing it on his head to make it smart.
Rubbing it on his heart to make it full of love.
