I have thoroughly enjoyed getting off at noon on Fridays. Usually when I get off at noon, I go home and clean or do homework or clean. Haha! This Friday I decided to do something different since I only have one more Friday of getting off early. :( I took mom lunch to her house and then I rode with her and daddy to Corey's game. Landon met us at the game when he got off. He was a little jealous that I got to watch the whole game while he had to work. I quickly reminded him that pretty soon he would be able to make a lot more than me when I start my new job! After Corey's game, we went to Osaka to eat! It was a great time!! Saturday morning we woke up, got ready, and headed out for more baseball! This game was forever long though! They were giving all the pitchers 2 innings to pitch. Of course Corey didn't throw as many pitches as the rest of the pitchers. He threw 9 straight strikes his first inning up. And he only threw 6 pitches his second inning. Needless to say, he is the bombdotcom. I'm not just saying that because I'm his sister (so what if I was, but I'm not :) ). He has worked so hard and it is all paying off for him. After that three hour game, we went to eat the Germantown Commissary. I had never been but it was so good! I am loving all this family time!! Corey is such a family oriented kid and it is so great to see his face light up knowing we were there! After we ate, Landon and I ran to target to get a few things, then we headed home for a nice quiet night. Sunday, Jackson turned FOUR! I can hardly believe it. He so smart, funny, and an all around perfect little boy. We couldn't love him more! We drove up to Pocahontas to Party Poppers for his party! After the party we went to eat Mexican! Landon and I came home after that and did some quick cleaning before getting ready for a new week!
National Pets Day was also this week! Can't forget my Malsy!
Landon, Corey, and Daddy waiting at Osaka.
Mom and Daddy wanted to keep Mal while we were gone!
Love this sweet face more than words!
The birthday boy didn't quite make it!
