Baseball....

is a way of life! Yep, we have been at the ballpark all night again! Loveeee it! Corey and the CBHS Purple Wave had their biggest rival game tonight with MUS. Corey pitched (even with a pulled quad) an awesome game! They won 12-2! One thing is for sure though.... This sister cannot stand someone talking about or trying to mess up her brother. I almost had to get a woman for flashing her big, fat camera while Corey was in the middle of his pitch. I don't mean while he is in the stretch or wind up. I am talking about in the middle of throwing the ball. Not that I ever doubted him, but that was uncalled for and she knew what she was doing. I can only imagine how bad I will be when we have kids. But anyways... Corey's good friend Seth plays for MUS. It is so weird seeing him on a different team! With Corey pitching and Seth batting, I had a hard time cheering for both! I can't believe Corey is almost a senior! It is so bittersweet! I am so proud of him! I am cherishing every one of these late nights and ball games!

Father/Son pep talk!

Proud sister right there y'all!

Mallie's Big Day!

This post will probably be all about Mallie. :) She had a big day!!!! First, I did not sleep very well at all last night but, nevertheless, Mallie never left my side! After a very long two days of working and car problems, this afternoon was just what I needed! Mallie got to go outside in our new big backyard for the first time!! We had so much fun!!! She ran and played, and played and ran. She wore me out just watching her!! After playing for a good 2 hours, it was bath time. Needless to say, she was not as thrilled about bath time as she was about playing. :)

Our neighborhood cat. He doesn't have a name yet. I'm taking suggestions! :)

Sunday Funday!!

Today we drove to Jonesboro to meet Meme and Pop! We love anytime we get to spend with them! We ate at Olive Garden then went to the mall. Meme and Pop make me SO happy. They are THE best grandparents a girl could ever ask for. I am so thankful to have them in my life. When I count my blessings, I count them TWICE! :) After a fun day with Meme and Pop, we came back home and got started on homework. Mallie, however, was not too thrilled about the homework idea.

Playing with dad!

Homework is boring, Mom.

Happy Birthday, Brittany Beene!

First off, it is my best friends 24th birthday today!!! She has been my VERY best friend for the last 5 years! I have no idea where I would be without her in my life! We love you, friend! On another note, This has been a busy week!! We have gotten lots of things done! Our Internet is finally installed, taxes done, some homework done, all of the boxes are gone off of our carport, and almost everything in its place! Mallie is settling in nicely to her new home. She is loving all the room to run and play! Last night, we went to CBHS to watch Corey play. If you didn't know, he is the bombdotcom at baseball. He has verbally committed to the University of Arkansas on a full ride. He is now a Junior in high school. They won last night, but Corey pulled his quad muscle in the process. Bubba, Aunt Paula, Lily, and Lake were also at Corey's game! Love getting surprise visits from them! Mom and I pretty much laughed the entire game. We have grown so close and I wouldn't change it for the world! While we were at Corey's game, Mr. Brett and Mrs. Nan were headed to the lake to get everything ready for summer! There is never a dull moment with those two. They had the truck loaded down and ready to go! We finally got to sleep in this morning for the first time in our new house. It was perfect. We caught up on some much needed sleep! We are now on our way to Corey's game today! You can't beat Saturdays at the ballpark! It's a beautiful day for some baseball!!

My very best friend! Happy Birthday, B!

Traffic on the way to Corey's game last night. There was a jumper on the bridge.

Milk and Cookies:)

The last two days have been very nice!! We have gotten in a little time to actually enjoy our new home! We only have a few things left to do before our house is complete! Tonight, Landon and I cooked our first supper in our new home. It has been an ongoing joke with us that every time I try to bake cookies, they burn. I can take them out WAY before time and they are still burnt. I was beginning to think that I should just give up on cookies. But tonight, I finally got it right! (I think it was our oven.) ;) We have finally been able to sit down and watch our shows and have some milk and cookies. :)

So much to do...

So little time! We had a VERY busy, but perfect weekend! Friday, Landon and I went to Mr. Brett and Mrs. Nan's to do homework. Our two favorite little boys were there! We absolutely love anytime we get to spend with those two! After homework, we all loaded up and went to eat. Easton's first restaurant experience was Cracker Barrel. Even though he slept the whole time, it still counts. :) Saturday, I was up super early! So I used that time to try to get our new home in order. Mom came over to help me. Two is better than one! Then Blayne, Jackson, and Easton came to see our new house! Jackson was so excited to see it! Mallie was so glad her buddy Jackson came to see her! We love getting to have everyone at our house. Mom and I then finished up straightening and organizing so we could head to the Redbirds game! This wasn't just any Redbirds because the World Series MVP, David Freese, was playing with them this weekend! They lost, but we had a great time! Sunday was the best day of all - Meme and Pop's very first Redbirds game! If you know me, you know how much my Meme and Pop mean to me. Pop loves the Cardinals and he could not wait to show all his friends that he got to see David Freese play in real life! We ended the weekend doing homework and watching the ACM's! Needless to say, we had a very successful, productive weekend! Our house is nearly finished and we got to spend time with our family! :)
