Pre-Christmas Dinner

Last night we had supper at Mom and Daddy's house! Drake got to open all his Christmas presents early since he won't be there on Christmas Day for Santa. 

Mal got to be spoiled! She likes her water out of a bottle top!

And the best husband ever got me a brand new chi and some fleece leggings!!! 

The most wonderful time of the year!

Christmas time is my favorite! Landon says it looks like Santa threw up in our house. I don't care because I LOVE it! We are almost finished Christmas shopping and I am caught up on wrapping... for now!! 😉 🎁🎄🎅

I have recently started to enjoy decorating cookies. These made me a little angry and I'm not too proud of them. But I know one little boy who will be. They are for Jackson's Christmas party!

For the first time since Landon and I have been married, we finally have christmas cards! Now, we haven't gotten them in yet and they haven't been mailed, but we did order them! Yay! 😊

Graduation!

One thing is for sure, I have the absolute best people in my life! Yesterday afternoon I took my praxis. I was a little worried so Landon surprised me at work with this! I do have the best husband ever. 

Today I graduated from ASU with my Bachelors Degree! This was a day that I thought would never come! It has been a tough road and I could not have done it without all of the people in my life! I am so proud and happy about our future! 

Dr. Julie and Nina got me a graduation card that, of course, had all the bells and whistles! When I opened it, it screamed and hollered at me! This little gem was on the front and they made me wear it ALL day yesterday! Yes, at work!! Love my work people!

There is one person that I absolutely could not have done this without. My perfect husband. He has supported me, listened to me gripe, stayed up late with me, helped me, comforted me, and loved me through out my entire college life. He never let me give up or slow down. I love him so much I can't even breathe. 

And a huge thank you to all who were able to come to my graduation!!! I went back and forth on whether or not I wanted to walk. I am so glad I did! I am also glad it was short. 😊 I love each and every one of you!

Moments of the Ice Storm.

Anyone who knows Landon and I knows that neither of us have a filter, so things can get a little.... comical. Especially being stuck in the house for 3 days. 

-Friday when the ice first started, Landon picked me up from work and I had a few errands to run. 

B: do you care if we run to west Memphis real quick? 

L: oh yeah! Bring on the wreckage! 

-Talking about the ice storms name, Cleon. 

B: you know, Cleon is a pretty ghetto name for an ice storm. 

L: what? 

B: they could have named it something normal like Paul or Sally. Most other ones aren't that ghetto. 

L: KATRINA?! 

-Landon reading twitter can be dangerous. There are some very.... odd jokes on there. 

L: repeat everything I say backwards. 

B: okay.

L: abc

B: cba

L: crack my finger. 

B: no. 

He starts dying out laughing. Laughing so hard he could barely breathe. 

-Me talking, like always, to Landon while he's watching football, like always. 

B: did you hear what I said?

L: (points remote at my face) mute. I think our remote is broken. 

-So since we've been in the house the last few days with no homework or cleaning to do, we have found a few things we had forgotten about. One of which being a little grill. The kind that you can put on the counter and grill chicken or whatever. Landon has been all about grilling in this new grill. So I'm standing in the kitchen about make a sandwich. 

L: want me to toast your bread?

B: you don't have too. I mean if you just WANT to toast something you can. 

L: you better watch it before I toast your buns! 

-I was trying to be nice. This is the result. 

B: you're pretty cute. 

L: you're pretty blind.
